🏡 Our Rooms at Little Treasures Nursery

 At Little Treasures Nursery, we offer a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment tailored to support your child’s development at every stage. Our rooms are carefully designed around age, developmental needs, and the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework. Each room follows our in-house curriculum, designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and support learning through play.

Our baby rooms offer a warm, calming space where the youngest children receive attentive, loving care. We focus on:

• Building strong attachments through our Key Person approach
   
• Supporting early communication through songs, stories, and sensory play
   
• Exploring through tummy time, treasure baskets, and soft play
   
• Following each child’s individual routine for sleep, feeding, and comfort

We work closely with families to ensure continuity of care, promoting trust and emotional security.

This is a time of big discoveries! In our Little Explorers room, children are encouraged to:

• Develop independence through self-care routines and choice-based play
   
• Engage in messy play, art, music, and early mark-making
   
• Begin building friendships and understanding emotions
   
• Explore language and problem-solving through group activities and imaginative play
   

We also introduce group activities like The Attention Bucket, a structured method to develop shared attention and communication, which is used in all rooms.

 Our pre-schoolers are getting ready for their next big step – school! In Little Adventurers, we focus on:

• Social skills like turn-taking, teamwork, and managing feelings 
• Expressive arts, music, outdoor play, and nature walks
• Promoting independence in toileting, dressing, and problem-solving
   

Children in this room follow a more structured day while still learning through play, in line with the EYFS areas of learning.

Each room follows our bespoke in-house curriculum, tailored to meet the needs and interests of our children while aligning with the EYFS learning goals. Activities are designed to cover all seven areas of learning, including:

We also use the Attention Bucket strategy across all age groups — a highly effective tool to build attention, engagement, and communication, especially valuable for children who need support in these areas.

 Each day is filled with laughter, learning, and discovery. We share regular updates and observations with parents so you can see how your child is progressing, growing, and enjoying their time with us.
